We have an exciting opportunity available at Pentium Ltd for an experienced Tradesperson who can deliver first-class repairs, swift maintenance solutions and general building skills in larger refurbishment projects.

Key tradesmen we are looking for but not limited to are Painters, Multitrade, Labourers, Carpenters and Plumbers

  • We work with one of the Largest Nursery Providers in the UK and we can offer you regular work with an attractive and steady salary
  • Standard working hours are 8am-5pm in general, but we are a 24hr service at Pentium Ltd and can regularly work out of hours from 8pm – 4am due to the nature of our workstream and the site-specific task that may lay ahead
  • You will be required to carry out a full range of general maintenance tasks, carry out disrepairs as well as being part of an exciting and very professional install team on larger refurbishment projects we have nationwide.
  • You will work in occupied and vacant properties whilst ensuring that Health and Safety procedures and safe working practices are adhered to at all times.
  • You will be supplied our logo workwear, standard and compulsory PPE fit for the task and any large plant and equipment needed to carry out the task
  • You will need your everyday tool set which should be complete with necessary power tools, spirit levels, clamps, work benches and the like
  • We require all our operatives to have an up to date DBS card / registration, if you do not have this we will assist the right candidate in obtaining the requirement before start of works
  • You will need to be able to drive and hold a full driving license

Refrigeration Case Cleaner

Due to continued growth, we now have a vacancy for a refrigeration case maintenance (cleaning) technician

You'll operate as part of a team carrying out refrigerated cabinet cleaning requirements throughout the South of England, typical working days are Sunday to Thursday evenings

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Carrying out the cleaning of refrigerated cabinets
  • Flexibility to work during customer busy periods (Xmas, Easter etc)
  • Removal and replacement of back plates and base shelves
  • Using jet washes to clean equipment
  • Using vacuums to unblock drains
  • Completing daily audit of location

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Previous experience of refrigeration case and unit cleaning in a commercial environment or experience of industrial cleaning is preferred but full in house training will be offered
  • Basic refrigeration maintenance ability – an advantage but not essential
  • Experience of using specialist cleaning equipment preferred
  • Full Driving License required

Office Administrator

We are looking for a reliable Office Administrator to assist in our company’s growth . They will undertake administrative tasks and form an integral part of the day to day operations.

The tasks of the office administrator will include daily allocation and management of reactive work, job logging onto CAFM software and invoicing of completed works. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritising and working with little supervision. They will be self-motivated and trustworthy. This role can be mixed between home and office working.

The office administrator ensures smooth running of our company’s office and contributes in driving sustainable growth.

  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
  • Management of CAFM software ensuring job timeline from point of job raised through to invoicing is correct.
  • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
  • Preparation of site files
  • Quotation writing
  • Entering of supplier invoicing onto account system
  • Material ordering for small project works
  • Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
  • Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary
  • Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned
  • Assist colleagues whenever necessary
  • Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
  • Proven experience operating in reactive maintenance
  • Have worked with field based software for job management.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software (ERP etc.)
